Decide the rules first

Most booking trouble comes from rules nobody wrote down. Before we touch a tool, we go through them with you:

  • Which session types you offer, how long each runs, and who can book which one
  • Buffer time between sessions, and the most sessions you'll take in a day
  • How far ahead people can book, and how late they can cancel or move a session
  • Whether a first-time client must book an intro call before anything else
  • Time zones, since online clients may sit a few hours away from you

Packages and bundles

A package is a set number of sessions sold together, sometimes with check-ins or a review at the end. Many scheduling tools can hold a package so the client books each session against it, and the tool counts down what's left. Where your tool can't do that, we set up a simple alternative, such as a private booking link for package clients. The package page on your site describes the shape of each bundle. It can show prices or leave them for the intro call, depending on how you prefer to sell.

Which scheduling tool

If you already use one and it works, we keep it and style the booking page to match the site. If you're choosing, we compare a short list against your rules: group sessions, recurring weekly slots for tutoring, payment at booking, and how well each one handles clients in other time zones. The quote says which we suggest and why.

Reminders and no-shows

Email and text reminders, with a link to reschedule inside your notice window, cut down on missed sessions. We set the wording with you, so reminders sound like you and carry the video link or address.

Questions

Can parents book for their kids?

Yes. The booking form can ask for the student's name, grade and subject alongside the parent's contact details.

Can I block time for my own work?

Yes. Busy times in your main calendar block slots on the site, so personal and admin time stays protected.
